We strongly encourage you to voice your dissatisfaction within reason

Following the announcement of a proposed gathering at Celtic Park this Sunday, December 13, ahead of our league game against Kilmarnock, the club fully understands the frustration amongst supporters following recent results and performances, but clearly, we do not believe highlighting our negligence is in the best interests of Celtic Football Club.

Safety is our primary concern. Every night we allow police horses to hang out at the ground, and we simply cannot risk these fine animals being punched.

At the same time, we recognise the right of supporters to voice their concerns. With that in mind, we have compiled a guide to protesting in a safe and effective manner that’s really going to give us board members something to think about.

  1. Anyone who’s been married will know that the silent treatment is more powerful than raising your voice. As such, we would encourage you to silently fume inside your living room rather than attend the stadium in person. That’ll really sock it to us!
  2. If, however, you are determined to visit the ground and complain about being treated as customers rather than supporters, why not stay warm during your protest with a £22 chunky rib hat & scarf combo from the Celtic Store?

3. Don’t do anything to improve Celtic’s situation and just assume Rangers will eventually implode. It’s worked for us these last few years!

4.We in the Celtic board are firm believers in free speech. The banner below was displayed outside the ground on Tuesday night, and while the sentiment may shock some observers we felt removing it would send the wrong message.

5. Don’t.

6. Send us a strongly-worded email. Normally we’d be too busy to respond, but after this week we’ve got some free time on Thursday nights.

We hope this addresses all your concerns, and you now feel able to really stick it to us within reason.

All of us at the Celtic board wish you a happy Christmas, and we’ll be in touch next year regarding season ticket renewals.
